Apprenticeship & Training

Harold E. Nutter & Son, Inc. is fully committed to electrical apprenticeship and journeyman training.

Norman Nutter is very involved in the development of the Independent Training Apprenticeship Program (I-TAP). I-TAP is a federally approved electrical apprenticeship program, state approved electrical training program, and offers state certified continuing education classes for journeymen electricians as well as management development programs.

The number of apprentices that we actively employ also demonstrates Harold E. Nutter & Son, Inc.'s commitment to the program. We currently employ apprentices throughout the state of California and look to these apprentices to be our foremen of the future. And, of course, all of Harold E. Nutter & Son, Inc.’s electricians are in compliance with current state laws.

Harold E. Nutter & Son, Inc. has also committed its top administrative personnel to participate in various components of the plan's administration such as interviewing perspective apprentices, arranging for tours of unique job sites, participation in curriculum development and chairing the disciplinary subcommittee.

Harold E. Nutter & Son, Inc. will remain firmly committed to quality apprenticeship and journeymen training programs. Only through the growth of high quality training programs can the electrical industry meet the increasing complexities of our customers today and also meet their needs of tomorrow.
